We are all troubled by how much it costs to run the Association. Every year the dues go up, and we all complain.
But do you know that our dues are lower than many other nearby communities with similar services? And do you know why?
Part of the reason for that is that we have a very active community of volunteers. During 2025 the Association saved nearly $50,000 which otherwise would have had to be part of our dues.
Won't you volunteer, and help us contain costs.
A group of friendly folks who get together in the spring through the fall to help trim trees, remove dead plants, do planting, tend the aging irrigation system, "dig in the dirt". They have fun. Volunteering does not mean you have to work every time - only when you are available, only when the weather is conducive. Joining the workgroup means putting your name on the email list, hearing what the group is up to. If you can help, you'll be welcome. If you can't help this week, that's ok.
In the winter, if the snow isn't too bad, we save money by doing some of the clearing on our own. The Snow Squad volunteers clear some of the sidewalks and walking trails, and they help to clear drives and walks of some of our neighbors who can't do it for themselves.
