All the landscaping, including in the rock areas outside each Villa are part of the common areas. Homeowners are not permitted to plant or remove any of the flora anywhere in the community. All decisions about landscaping, planting and removal, are delegated by the board to the Landscape Beautification Committee.
Motivated partly by limitations of funds from homeowner dues, and motivated partly by the strategic shift towards low-water xeriscaping, the LBC focuses most of its funding on preserving the trees and bushes we have, rather than planting new ones.
Homeowners desirous of having pleasing flora adjacent to their units, sometimes request that the LBC install plants which the homeonwers elect to pay for. Occasionally, homeowners will request that a particular dying plant be removed, at the homeowners expense. This is described in the policy Homeowner Paid Planting and Removal.
This form may be submitted to the LBC to request Homeowner paid planting or removal.
